| Musharraf Leaves for China for SCO Summit |

President Pervez Musharraf will leave for China today to represent Pakistan in the summit meet of Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO), on June 15.
The President besides addressing the preliminary session of the SCO on June 15, will hold bilateral meetings with the SCO leaders.
During his stay in Shanghai, President Musharraf will also avail the opportunity to have interaction with the media to project Pakistan's position on key regional and international issues.
Chairman Senate Foreign Relations Committee Mushahid Hussain Syed hinted on Saturday that President Musharraf and Afghan President Hamid Karzai may meet on the sidelines of the summit.
Pakistan has been given observer status in 2004. Mongolia, Iran and India are also observers.
