He also congratulated his counterpart on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. He also extended an invitation to Jia Qinglin to visit Pakistan.

Chairman CPPCC, Jia Qinglin, reciprocating the goodwill gesture observed the people and the government warmly welcomed the Chairman Senate and his delegation to China and stated that Chairman Naek had chosen China as a destination for his first official visit abroad testified to the strength of Pakistan-China relations.

He expressed satisfaction at the fact that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries 58 years ago their bilateral relations had seen smooth and healthy growth and evolved into a strong strategic partnership of cooperation.
