Pakistan Minister of Commerce Amin Fahim arrives in China

KARACHI (September 03 2009): The Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim has arrived in China to attend 'Trade and Economic Co-operation and Foreign Economic Trade Fair.' On his arrival, the Minister stated that Shengen region would act as a gate way for all kinds of Trade with Pakistan and also reiterated Pakistan's offer for energy and trade corridor via Karakorum high way to the deep seas of Karachi and Gawadar.

The Minister also expressed that Pakistan is interested in a Transit Trade Treaty (TTT) which would be in the interest of both the countries within the boarders of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan. Fahim will also represent Pakistan in a high level forum of 'Shanghai Economic and trade Co-operation Organisation.'

The Federal Minister also held a meeting with the Governor of Shengen province Nur Bekri. Fahim conveyed full support of the government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan to the Chinese government for creating harmony brotherhood in all aspects of life in the country. -PR
